WIWW #9

I forgot a few picture days this week but I’m still linking up with WIWW at The Pleated Poppy. Make sure you go and check out as many links as you can! There is always tons of great inspiration.

Oops. I cut off my feet. I’m wearing black boots in case you wondered. I subbed this day so this is my slightly more dressed up look. I kind of loved that tan belt with this outfit. My instinct said wear a black belt, but I really ended up liking how the belt broke up the outfit.

striped shirt: Walmart

white button-up: Steve & Barry’s

black pants: thrifted but they are from Limited

belt: thrifted

necklace: Forever 21 (this has totally become my favorite)

Oh Lord. Yuck. I hesitated to even put this out here. It probably would have worked with different boots. This is one of those days that I wish I would have taken the pictures BEFORE I left the house.

Chambray tunic/dress: TJ Maxx

sweater: Target

flowers: made by me

leggings: Walmart

boots: Clark’s from Bergner’s

Just to prove that I do not always make an effort, I am showing this “outfit”. This was Casimir Pulaski Day so we didn’t have school and we stayed home all day. (Seriously. Who is Casimir Pulaski, you ask? No one really knows, but we don’t go to school on his day.)

Long sleeve T: Target

Braves shirt: gifted from friend

jeans: Lee from VF Outlet

shoes: Walmart

I subbed again today—high school English and Sociology. I had a student teacher so….I read the newspaper. Every time I sub I wear black pants because those are the only dress pants I own. I think I need some more. I’m getting sick of black!

cardigan and belt: old from Walmart

shirt: Old Navy

pants and boots: Target

You look great! I love the caramel brown belt with black too! I laughed when I read your comment about wishing you had taken the pic before you went out. I've totally done that. I wore an outfit out last week that I thought looked awesome and when I came home and took the pic I was so disappointed! I love WIWW for that reason. It's totally given me a reality check on my outfits!
Have a great week!

I love the cardigan with belt look but I just can't pull it off without feeling uncomfortable. Not only that, but it's too dressy for my job as an in home daycare provider. It looks so cute on you!

I like the brown belt with the black! I really need to break that matchy match black/brown 'rule'. You always look adorable. I 'stole' a look from you last week, but didn't get a photo of that day. So hopefully soon! Head on out to your Goodwill and find another great pair of dress slacks. ;-)

I really do like the 2nd outfit that you said "yuck" about! MAYBE different boots that aren't as big on your legs but that's it. I really like it! I would never have that problem since I have chunky legs. I'm jealous ;0)

Stop it! Your "yuck" outfit isn't that bad at all! It looks comfy without looking like you don't care.

But my favorite is the last outfit. You pull off that belted look well. You're stylin'!

Very cute, I too like the brown belt w/ the black. I love those shoes from Walmart too, I will have to see if I can find some at our Walmart.

I almost did the WIWW this week, but chickened out. I really don't have much to wear; I am sure it would be boring!

Take care! Jodi

love that first outfit... and the brown belt is genius!

I know you weren't crazy about your outfit the day you wore the Chambray tunic/dress from TJ Maxx, but I think the Chambray dress is awesome. I get what you're saying about different boots, but it's not that bad. I like the first outfit with the brown belt, good decision to wear brown and not black. You crack me up with your comment about Casimir Pulaski...who knows who he is? Not me :) I never question a day when we are out of school. I gladly take a day off whenever I can get it.

Well I like your yuck outfit! And I also love the brown belt with the black and white striped outfit, which would be so daring for me... but I'm getting there!
