Happy Birthday Jack and Abraham!

Jack and Abraham Lincoln are celebrating their birthday today.  It’s Jack’s 7th and Abe’s 202nd.  It was Jack’s request to have an Abe Lincoln birthday theme.  Thank goodness we live in Central Illinois which is home to all things Abe Lincoln!

My cousin Shawna had this Abe “action figure” and sent it to Jack knowing that he would love it.  031

I came out this morning and found that Jack had set up all this new presents and some old favorites in front of the TV.  He also built a pretzel rod cabin.046047

Jack & Stella

004

My sister and her kids visited this past weekend. Our kids love each other so much. This is Jack’ own little version of heaven…laying on the couch, taggie in hand, covered by “favorite covers” (that’s what he calls his special blanket) and snuggling with Stella while watching TV. Life is good.

Christmas Roundup

Family portrait. Can't believe how big the boys are getting--and how badly they need haircuts.
Jack made a Lego Santa and reindeer--complete with Rudolph. There are actually 10 reindeer because Santa sent a message to Jack via PNP, that he has a new reindeer.

We left cinnamon rolls, broccoli and celery for Santa and the reindeer. Along with several notes.

Blurry picture of the tree after Santa left his gifts.

After they have torn into pretty much everything and are happily examining their gifts.

Easter 2010

Some Easter fun. According to Stella, "I just wanted that yellow egg." She was determined!

This was our first Easter without Great Grandma. On the way home, Jack said, "I think Gwate Gwandma pwobabwy had a Easter party in heaven with Jesus." I am SURE he is right!
