I’m a bit obsessed with boots this year. I particularly fell in love with these two styles after seeing Nicky from Momma Gets Real’s boot collection and all her adorable outfits on WIWW. So, I bought the gray suede ones on clearance for $28 (originally $40). It was more than I wanted to pay, but I really do love them. I’ve worn them quite a bit already. I also loved the second pair (although Nicky’s are taller but my friend Angie has them and I had been admiring them) but they were $28 (originally $40) also and I couldn’t justify both pairs. So I watched and waited. And lo and behold, the Target gods came through for me. Yesterday, they were both on clearance in my size for $10 each! SQUEAL!!! I went home, put the $28 tag on the $10 boot and returned them today. (This isn’t cheating….it’s the same EXACT boot in the same size and I’m returning the unworn ones.) This is why you shouldn’t throw out tags or receipts, by the way!
I am a very happy Target shopper today! Really, any time I’m at Target, I’m pretty happy!

I tried both of those on at my Target. I almost bought the tall gray ones but Thanksgiving weekend AE had a great sale on some gray riding boots so I bought those. I love both of these though! My Target doesn't have any good sale stuff left! Bummer. You got a GREAT deal girlie :)
thanks for the shout out! I didn't realize they had my brown boots in a "short" version... AND FOR $10... omg... that is FABULOUS! btw I love all your necklaces? do you make them? where do you get them? ;-)
I love your blog, I found you from the WIWW on the Pleated Poppy! I don't post on WIWW but I usually can't wait until Wed. when I get to see what everyone has been wearing! I LOVE clothes, but just can't seem to get the "style" part of it together; I am more of a jeans and t shirt girl. I am gaining confidence and learning how to just put things together and it looks put together; hopefully I will someday post on WIWW!
I was happy to find someone who felt the same way as me about turning 40; I turned the "magical number" in December and was NOT looking forward to it all! I don't feel 40 nor do I act 40, I guess you are only as old as you feel, right? :)
Anyway, sorry to ramble in comment space. :) Looking forward to following your blog! By the way, I too love those boots and have tried them on at Target, but couldn't get myself to buy them; I follow Nicky's blog too and have seen hers!
Have a great weekend!

$10 is FREE! (Unless they are at the G-Dub then it is expensive) Collecting boots is my "hobby". My husband would like me to find a new hobby.
