This season's first snow was a good one--enough to play in but not enough to cause driving problems. Jack will only tolerate the cold for so long, but Parker will stay out for hours. And a huge bonus this year--Parker can get himself completely geared up appropriately (snow pants, boots, gloves, hat, coat) all by himself. Sounds easy right? Remember that with each layer you add, it gets a little bit harder to add the next layer. I hate the whole business of getting kids ready for snow so this is great for me. Does that make me lazy?!

Snow...I'm so jealous. Scott and the boys are out hanging Christmas lights in a light rainy drizzle. We would love a light dusting of snow. Of course down here that means NO SCHOOL!
